26 Inch LCD TV

If you’re not obsessed with big-screen envy, you’ll be mighty impressed with the features the new 26 inch LCD TV offers. Whether it’s for an office, kitchen, bedroom or bathroom, the smaller-screens with HD quality offer plenty of features that make them more appealing than ever.

Some of the smaller 26” LCD TV sets showed a little pixilation in transitional areas between dark and light colors, but the picture quality is good, with rich, sharp colors and accurate skin tones. While many of the new sets may lack the brightness and contrast of larger HDTVs, the bottom line, in terms of overall image quality, is still quite impressive for such a small TV.   

Another good choice is to hookup with a DVI to HDMI cable if the user plans to connect other HD sources via the component inputs. The 1440x900 resolution of most dedicated 26 inch LCD TV displays matches the native resolution of most 19-inch units, while the built-in tuners add benefit of being able to watch TV on demand. 

Where space is at a premium and several devices would otherwise be needed -- for PC use to watching the big game -- the new 26" LCD TV is a great option.
